The Elite Tennis Academy has been operating since 2006.Elite offers classes from beginner to national standards and has a program for full time tennis players from ages 12 to 18 yrs. In the last nationals Elite had players represented in every age group, and has players in the top three in under 10, under 12, under 14, under 16 and under 18s in BC.
Neil Scantlebury has been addicted to tennis all his life.He was ranked in the top 15 in the United Kingdom from the age of 16 to 18 yrs. Neil had a Scholarship to a school in Georgia where he became an All American for 2 years’ running in both singles and doubles. Neil has been coaching for the last 5years, first in the United States then in England and since 2006 in the Vancouver area, where he began coordinating and coaching for the Academy. Neil took and passed his Instructor and Club Pro 1 certification and will take his Club Pro 2 this summer. Coaching is the only way for Neil, as tennis is his biggest passion.
